Sarah Trouslard, PhD, is a musician and scholar who teaches piano, music theory, and ethnomusicology. She earned her PhD in ethnomusicology from the CUNY Graduate Center, where she concentrated on music of France. Born in Paris and raised in Brooklyn, She currently resides in Vermont, where she teaches at Middlebury College and at the Middlebury Community Music Center.
